  1. Create your own study guide

Your teacher won’t always provide a study guide for you so take matters into your own hands.

  1. Ask questions

Don’t be afraid to ask others for help. It’s better to ask then be caught taking the test with no clue what’s going on.

  1. Attend the review session

Some teachers will have an after school study session to help students prepare for the test. Try to attend as many as possible.

  1. Start early

Procrastinating is your worst enemy. Don’t do it. Start early and avoid stress.

  1. Organize a group study session

Others will know some things you don’t, so it can be very helpful to study in a group just make sure not to get off track too often or you’ll never get work done.

  1. Study things not on the study guide

Not everything will be on the study guide so make sure to study by reading the book or reviewing your notes.

  1. Take breaks

It’s not healthy to study nonstop with no breaks, so make sure to take some time out for yourself.

  1. Stay well-rested

There’s no point in studying if you’re going to sleep late. This means the next morning you’ll be too tired and half the information you memorized won’t have been retained.
