“Normality is a paved road: It’s comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it.” -Vincent van Gogh

Motivation is a hard thing to acquire.

It is human nature to stay in your comfort zone.

However, if you always stay in your comfort zone and never dare to take other steps outside your path, you will find yourself missing opportunities.

Comfort zones are the safest places to be. We feel most at-home in them, and we never want to leave in order to maintain that homely and safe feel.

Although, if we step out of our comfort zones, we will face new roads with new opportunities sprouting everywhere. New doors will be opened.

Normality is a social construct. It is built in concrete.

Being different is concerning to most people, since being normal seems to be set in stone since the day you are born.

It is familiar and an easy road to walk on, and it’s comfortable because it is what people have been taught their whole life.

But, no flowers grow on this road. There is nothing interesting.

There is no beauty in staying in your comfort zone and in the construct of normality.

Being different and unique is powerful and beautiful.

Being different is the best way to be yourself and find new opportunities waiting for you.

So step out of your comfort zone, be confident, and be you.
